I’ve been married to my awesome soldier for 18+ years and we have three wonderful boys: Firstie (15), Middlin (11) and Pip (7). Along the way we’ve been blessed with a small army who waits for us in heaven: Rose, Mary Elizabeth, Pio, Thomas and Edward. “A person’s a person, no matter how small” rings very true here–but God beat Dr. Seuss to it! (Psalms 139:13, Jeremiah 1:5 & Isaiah 43:1)
I love my faith and know that it’s a gift from God. I have wonderful family and friends who’ve crossed the country on more than one occasion to help with this and that. We’ve been given the grace to homeschool, which is nothing like I thought it would be. I have a small but wonderful rosary-making business which provides me with an outlet for a little holy creativity. And I LOVE food: creating, sharing, eating and photographing. But not doing the dishes.
I’m truly blessed to live my very blessed life, and I thank God for all of His gifts!

Thanks for your words about Max, my friend. It was very sweet to me that we were expecting at the same time, and bittersweet to farewell both of our boys. The comfort and hope of heaven grows realer and realer.
